Seahawks re-sign receiver Jackson

Kirkland, WA (Sports Network) - The Seattle Seahawks re-signed wide receiver Darrell Jackson on Friday to a one-year contract. Financial terms of the deal were not released.

The three-year veteran, who was a restricted free agent and had received interest from other teams, has spent his entire career in Seattle. He will be eligible to be an unrestricted free agent after next season.

Last year, he was the Seahawks' second-leading receiver with 62 catches for 877 yards and four touchdowns. For his career, the 22-year-old has hauled in 185 balls for 2,671 yards and 18 touchdowns.

The team also announced that defensive end John Hilliard has re-signed. Hilliard, a sixth round draft pick from Mississippi State in 2000, finished the 2002 season with 14 tackles in 13 games.
