Cleveland Indians Team Report - April 26

(Sports Network) - Jason Davis gave up 10 hits and four runs in 6 1/3 innings of a 5-2 loss to the Oakland A's Friday.

Davis (2-3) finished the game striking out three and walking two.

Casey Blake and Shane Spencer both homered for the Indians, who lost their fourth straight game and matched their worst start after 23 games at 7-16. The 1993 Indians started the season with the same record.

Jake Westbrook will take the hill for the Indians today. Westbrook is 1-2 with a 1.50 ERA in four starts this season.

In his most recent outing, Westbrook picked up first win of the year, allowing two and six hits over five and two-thirds innings of a 9-2 win over the Chicago White Sox on Monday. He also walked two and struck out one.

Westbrook has struggled in three career appearances against Oakland, going 0-3 with a 10.24 ERA.

Brandon Phillips has missed two straight games since getting hit in the hand by a throw from Seattle's John Olerud on Wednesday.

An MRI test revealed OF Milton Bradley has a significant strain in his right hamstring, but not a tear. He was not in the lineup Friday.
