Seattle signs cornerback Williams
Kirkland, WA (Sports Network) - Cornerback Willie Williams re-signed for one
year with the Seattle Seahawks on Friday and practiced with the team,
Williams, 32, became a free agent after spending the last six seasons with the
Seahawks. Last year he recorded 24 tackles, intercepted one pass, forced a
fumble and returned it 25 yards for a touchdown in a win over Atlanta.
The 10-year veteran has posted 528 tackles and picked off 25 passes for
Seattle and Pittsburgh.
