Steve Hartman
For more than a decade, Hartman has put his stamp on the sports world as a writer, team executive, and broadcaster. With the elaborate photographic memory he possesses, his knowledge of sports, both past and present, is second to none. In fact, he is widely recognized as the "King of Sports Trivia." Hartman has become one of the most recognizable and sought-after national sports personalities during his ten-year run on XTRA Sports. He has become a fixture at all top sporting events, having covered eight Super Bowls and eight Final Fours. His Loose Cannons Show has been featured nationally on NBC's World News Tonight with Tom Brokaw. Larry Stewart, sports radio/ TV columnist for the Los Angeles Times, called Hartman "a rising star."
Mychal Thompson:
As the first overall selection in the 1978 NBA draft, Thompson played 12 seasons with the Portland Trailblazers, San Antonio Spurs and the Los Angeles Lakers. He was part of the Lakers back-to-back championship teams in 1986-87 and 1987-88. In addition to being a former athlete, Thompson brings over 11 years of radio and television experience to the show. He is the radio analyst for the Lakers. Before coming to the Lakers broadcast team, he had been the television analyst for the Minnesota Timberwolves. Prior to that, Thompson co-hosted "The Brothers in the Booth", a radio show in Portland, Oregon, with Kermit Washington and worked with the Seattle SuperSonics, Vancouver Grizzles and Portland Trailblazers as a TV color analyst. Thompson is a native of the Bahamas and serves as Sports Ambassador to the Bahamas with former Lakers forward Rick Fox.
