XTRA SPORTS 570 UPDATESProbably best described as one of L.A's best kept secrets, Jeff Biggs continues to be a voice of credibility and integrity here on XTRA SPORTS AM 570. As the only sportscaster in L.A. radio history that has traveled as an everyday beat reporter with the Lakers, Dodgers, Angels and Raiders...Biggsy can be heard doing the Sports Updates every weekday morning from 5a-12p.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Biggsy started with XTRA SPORTS in '94, following the sale of the original KMPC where he made more L.A Radio history by interviewing athletes live after games via cell phone. Biggsy also worked on the Jim Rome show, and was Jim's regular fill-in host, before being hired for XTRA SPORTS in 97'. Since then, Biggsy has been the ultimate team player, doing everything from sports updates to hosting the midday show. And to this day Biggsy's work with the Dodgers remains unmatched, after he pulled off a one on one interviews with BARRY BONDS, RANDY JOHNSON, SAMMY SOSA, AND BIG MAC....To name a few in an unprecedented season of the pre-game Dodger Insider show.
Biggsy was also a fan favorite, following his work as host of the post-game Bruin talk. In addition to his work here at XTRA SPORTS, Biggsy also spent time with FSR and ESPN radio once called Biggsy their best reporter.
Jeff and his wife Sasha have two daughters. Biggsy is an active member of the church, and his passion is helping those that struggle with drugs and alcohol.
