You may have heard Mike for 9 seasons on the Dodger Stadium P.A. microphone yell out…”Good Evening Ladies and Gentlemen…your Los Angeles Dodgers”…He provided fans of the 4-time W.C.H.L. Champion San Diego Gulls 6 seasons as the public-address announcer and currently does back-up play-by-play. He is also the back-up P.A. announcer for the Los Angeles Kings…He was the primary P.A. guy for the Anaheim Mighty Ducks from 1994-1997….In 2002 Mike announced men’s and women’s hockey at the Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City…He also hosted a pregame hockey show, during each men’s Olympic hockey contest, for Aussie TV…Mike flew to Athens, Greece in August 2004 to announce baseball at the Summer Olympics…
 
Mike has worked over 24 years in radio, including great stations: KFI AM 640, KBIG 104, STAR 98.7 AND KFWB AM 980 in Los Angeles, where in 2000, he won a Golden mic. award as part of the sport anchor team…
 
Carlooch has a busy voice-over career, recording over thousands of commercials…some national clients include: “Coors”, “Nike”, “Mastercard”,  Millerlite”, McDonalds” and the “FOX” Network…He has voiced many video games for Sony Playstation and Sega…Recent games include: “NCAA Gamebreaker 2004”, “NHL Faceoff 2001-2004” and the just released GRETZKY, NHL 2005”, “NBA Shootout 2000-2005”. “MLB 1998-2005” (in which he shared announcing duties with hall of famer VIN SCULLY) and the big selling and critically acclaimed “NHL 2K3”…
 
He did a few character voices for the James Bond game “Tommorrow Never Dies” and the big seller “Time Crisis II: Project Titan”…
 
Mike was the voice of KDOC-TV in Anaheim, in which he won an award for a station/promo…He was heard announcing Public-Address style in the Billy Crystal directed HBO film “61” and the Miramax film “Bounce”…also listen for Mike in the upcoming film “The Honeymooners” and later this year “Two for the Money” starring Al Pacino and Rene Russo…he also provided v.o.’s for the hit CBS-TV sitcom “King of Queens” and ABC-TV sitcoms “The Norm Show” and “Two of a Kind”…Mike also voiced promos and disclaimer  announcements at Disneyland 
 
Mike has hosted numerous charity events, golf tournaments and expos…including NFL Alumni sanctioned events for the Chuck Muncie foundation, Kellen Winslow, Fred Williamson and the Lamar Lundy foundation for cancer research, the Mercedes Benz tennis challenge…
 
He has also taught communication courses at Fullerton College, Coastline and Saddleback Colleges in Orange County
 
Mike has a communications degree from Saddleback College and attended UCLA, where he received his teaching credential…
 
Carlooch’s hobbies include; baseball, golf, skiing, deepsea fishing, snorkeling, art, a good craps game in Vegas…he is single and has one daughter named Sierra…she is 12 years old…
